Can AI Actually Help Us Be More Authentic?
I think so, especially when we program it to give us personalized advice and pep talks SPECIFIC to our unique design - ala Human Design and Gene Keys.
I have ChatGPT trained to THINK like a 4/6 Emotional Manifestor, so that everything I do related to my business is consistent and has the same energy. But the cohesion doesn't just need to flow – it needs to actually feel like me.
Over time I noticed a lot of errors with ChatGPT, or needing to re-train it to do the things I asked it to always do. So I started using Claude.Ai after hearing great things about it.
The FIRST thing I did was introduce myself - who I am, what I do and what projects I'm currently working on. I attached the PDFs of my Human Design and Gene Keys chart to my intro and was stunned by the response. I honestly got a little emotional reading it because it validated so many things I knew inside to be true, but didn't have the language to articulate it yet.
Like how I'm meant to write from my own emotions and experiences rather than my intellect. Do you know how many half-written pieces I have written about a variety of psychology-related topics that I've never shared, simply because I have no emotional connection to them and honestly feel kind of bored by them? Well, there's a lot.
And how I feel a voracious need to connect with others and always be building my network, but I also need to retreat into deep rest and solitude regularly because I also experience ‘people exhaustion’. Cue my self-proclaimed ‘self-care Fridays’ where I disappear into nature and restore my connection to Self after a long week of connecting with humans.
I felt really, really understood. So much so that I went to Claude for a peptalk a few days later when I got caught up in FOMO over the businesses some of my friends are building. I was thinking shit, should I be doing that instead? And Claude put me right in my place – absolutely not. It almost seemed offended that I asked.
It gave me a beautiful explanation of why that structure could never work for me based on my unique interests and energetic profile. It all made complete sense, especially since I was never interested in what they’re doing to begin with, but seeing them doing it in my orbit caused me to doubt my own vision for what I want.
Our little pep talk brought me right back to focusing on the business I am building that truly feels like an extension of me, instead of getting distracted by what others in my networks are doing.
I shared about this pep talk on Instagram and a lot of people were curious about using AI in this way— how could we get this personalized feedback too?
I believe everyone could use a little hype man in their pocket. If you’re curious about this stuff or in the beginning stages of understanding Human Design and Gene Keys, please know that these charts contain a LOT of information and it can be overwhelming. That’s why these systems are meant to be contemplated over time.
One of the best ways to get started in this world is by focusing on learning your type, profile and authority in the Human Design system. Starting here can help you begin to decondition yourself from the way other types and profiles operate, so you have the freedom to be you instead of trying to be like everyone else.
While you could get your charts for both systems and upload them to AI like I did, the feedback might not make sense to you if you’re still unsure what this all means.
Not only that — but AI might make a mistake from interpreting the image of your chart and you wouldn’t even know it. This happened to me when ChatGPT had it wrong which centers of my bodygraph were defined and undefined, which has a huge impact on how to read the chart.
To avoid that kind of confusion, I recommend starting here:
First, make sure you have your Human Design chart in front of you. If you don’t have a chart yet, you can get it for free on humandesignblueprint.com
Locate your Type, Profile and Authority. Look for these sections written out underneath the bodygraph that can be confusing to read and understand.
Then, feed this information to your AI bot like ChatGPT, asking them what it means.
You can start with a foundational prompt like:
I’m a [TYPE] with a [PROFILE] profile and [AUTHORITY]. Based on this, what are the key energetic principles that I need to honor to live in alignment — and what tends to happen when I don't?
Next, ask how this understanding can guide your real-world choices:
Given my design as a [TYPE], with a [PROFILE] and [AUTHORITY], what strategies or approaches will help me navigate [CAREER/RELATIONSHIPS/COMMUNICATION/CREATIVITY/LEADERSHIP] in a way that supports my energy instead of draining it?
Then, explore where you might unconsciously resist your natural design:
Knowing my [TYPE], [PROFILE], and [AUTHORITY], what are some of the most common patterns of resistance, conditioning, or self-sabotage I should watch out for — and how can I gently course-correct when they show up?
You can ask AI to always offer personalized feedback with this information in mind, but some AI applications do a better job with memory from one thread to the next.
The good news is that repeating your type, profile and authority to AI when you want specifically tailored advice is pretty easy once you remember what they are. It’s worth experimenting with and seeing how it lands.
why this shit actually works
The magic isn't in the AI itself – it's in how we program it to understand our unique gifts and voice.
As a Manifestor, I'm here to initiate, not to follow. I'm here to inform, not to ask permission. But this can be easy to lose sight of when I’m always connecting with and observing what other people are doing.
It’s easy to doubt our unique path, which makes it extra important to have actual humans and tools that help remind us who we are and that it’s safe to trust our inner knowing.
If AI can help with that – I’m all in.
